How To Turn Off Find My Device

Very Important - Turn off Find My Before Service!

You must disable Find My Before bringing in your Mac

In order for your unit to be serviced, we will require you to turn off Find my Device before bringing your Mac in for repair.

Please turn this feature off before bringing in your Mac!

Why do you need to turn off Find My?

Macs made since 2018 feature high security hardware that offers anti-theft functionality. In order for any Apple Authorized Service Provider or Apple Store to service your hardware, Find My must be turned off before service.

Please ensure that the unit has been unenrolled in Multi-Device Management (MDM) and/or Find My with your iCloud account has been fully disabled before bringing your Mac in for service.

We cannot order parts from Apple, nor create a service ticket in Apple's repair system if Find My is not disabled.  This is for your protection.

If Find My cannot be disabled, any service will have to be declined.
