Tyrosys Mail-in Mac Repair

If you don't live close to a major city with Apple Authorized Service  Providers or Apple Stores then getting your Mac serviced can be a challenge.  

Tyrosys can repair and / or upgrade your Mac all with the Mail-in-Mac convenience of shipping with UPS or FedEx.

How Mail-in Mac Works:

1. Complete our Mail-in Repair form.

The form is downloadable in Adobe PDF format and easily prints to your printer. Be sure to completely fill out the form, keep a copy for yourself, and attach to your machine that you are sending in for repair.

2. Call our Tyrosys - Leander Office at 512-686-0469 to Schedule your repair.

Please give us your name, serial number of the machine, and share with us the problem you’re having. We can offer you a 3-way transit box with pre-paid shipping should you need it.

3. Ship your Mac computer for Repair.

Using our transit box or your own box, drop off your package at a UPS or FedEx store location. Be sure to properly package your Mac for shipment, and don't skimp on packing it right!

Pre-paid shipping is available using UPS or FedEx services.

Diagnostics Performed


Our Apple Authorized and Certified Technicians use Apple issued diagnostic tests and  approved methods to quickly and accurately troubleshoot your machine.  Once the affected components are isolated, a quotation for repair will  be generated.

Unit Repair with Customer Approval


With your approval, our Apple Certified technicians will complete the  repair of your Mac. Upon completion, additional quality control tests  are performed to ensure the original problem has been corrected.

All repairs are completed in our Leander, Texas Apple Authorized facility.

Quick Return Shipment


Once applicable charges have been billed, we will quickly return ship  your Mac. 

An economic return option is UPS or FedEx Ground which  averages one to three days depending on your distance from central Texas. FedEx Ground is usually a day faster to most places.

Expedited UPS or FedEx Overnight or 2nd Day Air  services are available upon request.

AppleCare Customers

AppleCare Protection Plan does not cover the cost of shipping.

Shipping Costs

All shipping expenses are billed to the customer. We ship via FedEx and UPS.

Declined Repairs

Declined repairs are billed $85.00 plus all shipping for the diagnostic evaluation.

Need a box?

We have transit boxes available for  Mac Portables and Mac Mini for $26. 

Three-way transit boxes require box purchase and shipping pre-payment.
