These days you have to be very careful on where you take your Mac for repair since so many computer shops claim to fix Macs or be "Apple Certified".
There is a huge difference between being Apple Authorized and just having Apple Certified techs.
Apple Authorized means we at Tyrosys have earned a partnership directly with Apple and have access to the legitimate Apple Genuine Service Parts, Manuals, and Tools. We must abide by rules set by Apple and continually train so that we are Apple product and service experts. Additionally, we at Tyrosys also can complete AppleCare warranty repairs on your Mac computer hardware.
Apple Certified simply only means that a technician has passed the required tests to confirm a skillset to service Mac hardware. While Apple Authorized Service Providers (AASP) are required to staff Apple Certified Technicians, just being Certified alone is not an Authorization.
Tyrosys uses the legitimate Apple repair tools, genuine Apple parts, and utilizes the actual Apple service backend system known as Global Service Exchange.

Depending on the model, we can replace the bare LCD panel itself or the display module as a whole. Retina display Macs always require whole clamshell replacement. After inspecting the scope of damage, we can provide a written quotation for repair.

Software Upgrade, Troubleshooting, and Maintenance
Tyrosys can help you upgrade your Mac from an older Mac Operating System, a specific macOS for your unique needs, configure Boot Camp, or a Parallels Virtual Machine.
We can rid your Mac of bloatware or malware popups. We have flat-rate pricing on many of our software repair services and can provide same or next day service in many cases.
Also it is important to every 12 to 15 months bring your Mac in for regular software and hardware maintenance, and we charge a flat $85 for this service.
In most cases, we can have your machine repaired within one or two business days.
Part availability from Apple and shipping time is the primary factor in repair completion time. We do offer a premium expedited service for an additional $160.00 that bumps you to the front of the repair queue and/or gives priority appointment based pickup.
All equipment and parts left beyond 30 calendar days is considered abandoned and will be destroyed and disposed of in a responsible manner.
All new Mac computers feature a one-year Apple Limited Warranty and within 60-days from original purchase an owner can purchase an additional two years of coverage with the AppleCare+ Protection Plan. These warranty coverages cover the cost of parts and our labor to complete the repair.
Apple does not pay Tyrosys for the cost of troubleshooting your Mac for any software repair. Sometimes extended diagnostic fees will apply, usually related to accidental damage deductibles, software troubleshooting, or tracing difficult intermittent issues.
What is Accidental Damage?
Common examples are cracked displays, hyper-extended displays, drop damage, missing screws, or liquid spills. We offer competitive pricing on Mac repairs, all work is done in our lab, and being an Apple Authorized Service Provider we use Genuine Apple hardware components.
Accidental damage supersedes your Apple Warranty until the affected components are repaired by an Apple Authorized Service Provider or Apple Authorized Repair Depot.
Our scope of iPhone support is limited to certain hardware and software repairs.
1. Diagnostics and Visual Inspection of iPhone.
2. Confirmation iPhone is backed up to iCloud and Find My is Turned OFF.
3. Erasure of iPhone for your privacy.
4. Check-in of Device for Repair and Required parts ordered from Apple.
5. Repair Performed and Calibrations and Post-Repair Diagnostics completed.
6. Owner contacted that iPhone Repair Completed.

Most warranty repairs will be sent to the Apple Depot for repair.
This frees up our iPhone repair queue for paid out-of-warranty repair projects to be performed in our laboratory.
All out-of-warranty iPhone repair labor, including software support and training, is billed hourly.
iPhone Battery Replacements
Bare batteries require special handling to be shipped, and usually that means that Apple ships them FedEx Ground only. These batteries ship from Apple's Reno, NV warehouse which takes 3 to 4 days to get to us here in Austin. We’re in the process of negotiating with Apple to create a better solution, but in the meanwhile this is the best we can do.
Additionally Apple requires the iPhone to be drained below 60% in order for us to place the parts order within the Apple repair system. Apple will only release a battery replacement part if it fails the diagnostic test and shows that it is "Degraded". This prevents unnecessary battery replacements when excessive drain is caused by software related issues instead.
Please plan accordingly to be without your phone for several days while we wait for the battery to arrive. Alternatively if you need to keep your phone while we wait for the battery, it will require full pre-payment of the project. At busier queue times, an Expedited Service fee of $160 may be required because of the rush handling and labor involved.
iPads aren't designed to be disassembled in the field, instead Apple's service strategy is for us to perform a Whole Unit Replacement (WUR).
On iPad models where whole unit replacement isn't feasible, we can assess whether an out-of-warranty solution may be available.
Important to Note:
Pre-payment is required on most iPhone services. All equipment and parts left beyond 30 calendar days is considered abandoned and will be destroyed and disposed of in a responsible manner.
